Glistening Water When I was making this I was trying to show the beauty of water when the sun hits it. To create this image I used three background images and one selfie. The three background pictures all have there own individual effect on the final image. the first image was a picture of a pool from up close, this shows movement and is the base of my background. The next photo is an up close picture of glitter in water, this shows light reflection and it looks the same as water looks when it hits the water. The third and final background picture is a picture of the sun, this shows the bright light of the sun and more of how it reflects on the water. The picture of the sun is the only picture that only covers the areas behind me on normal blending mode at 100 percent opacity. The picture of the pool covers the whole screen in lighten blending mode at 48 percent opacity and the picture of the glitter also covers the whole screen but on normal blending mode and 40 percent opacity. I titled this image Glistening Water because I love water and I really love when I see light reflect off the water. It's really cool how I can create such a summery image from all winter pictures.
Sympathy: My double exposure and my five layer selfie are very similar but also very different. The double exposure image has a fake background that I edited on but the selfie I kept the background of the original image. In a way they are both the same because they are both selfies with other images on top. The double exposure is only covered by one image but the selfie is covered by five. Personally I liked the double exposure better than the selfie.
